Crystal Candles | A Welcome Gift With Meaning

Last weekend was our company’s yearly convention and they offered virtual viewing for those who didn’t attend in person. For a variety of reasons some of our team decided to do virtual viewing. We rented a beyond amazingly beautiful and ginormous house in South Lake Tahoe for three nights.

Since roommates were decided ahead of time I wanted a fun way for everyone to easily find their room. I figured a welcome gift with their name tied to the bags would do the trick.

For a relatively small coastal town we surprisingly have a decent amount of women owned businesses that I love. The day before our Tahoe weekend I popped into a couple of my faves looking for a small gift for everyone. Since my son was in preschool that morning I got to actually spend relaxed time browsing and chatting with the business owners.

I wanted something small that still had meaning. So Amber, the owner of Stonesthrow Boutique, showed me some candles. Not only did every single candle smell ahh-mazing but they also each have crystals inside of them. Once the candle burns down the crystals can be retrieved and carried with you or placed in a special place.

There were 23 women coming together for the weekend. All of them in various places in life and business. Many of the gals I know well so I hand selected specific candles for them.

SUCCESS STONE

The Citrine Quartz manifests success in all areas of life. I gave these to a couple of the total boss babes already creating success in their lives and and helping others do the same.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH & HEALING STONE

The Amethyst Quartz helps balance and heal your energy. I gave these to a couple of my team members who are growing a businesses while healing from loss or starting anew and charting a new path in life.

BALANCING STONE

The Dalmatian Jasper helps with grounding and keeping balance and enhance abilities to plan, strengthen friendships and family bonds. Since many, many of the gals I work with have kids, spouses, community commitments, careers and multiple businesses the balancing act is always in motion.

BRINGS GOOD LUCK

Although we know that success, in anything really, comes from consistency, perseverance, and failing forward a little luck never hurts anyone. For that I gifted the newbies in business the Moon Stone candle because the moon's energy inspires new beginnings and good fortune.

POWER STONE

Have you ever heard the song Eye of the Tiger?! It's all about rising up to the challenge. Tigers Eye helps us face our fears and anxieties. A perfect stone for women pushing through vulnerabilities in business and life!

BLOCK NEGATIVITY

While I truly don't recall if I gifted this particular candle to any of the gals, I love it. Women, especially women in business, need to surround themselves with people who build them up. For every cheerleader you have in life there seem to be just as many naysayers and Obsidian shields negative energy.

After I selected all the candles that I wanted to give as gifts, Amber graciously offered to individually bag the candles so all i had to do was hang name tags on them.

I came back to pick them up, after getting my son from school. He was immediately drawn to the table with all the candles and crystals, picking them up and looking at each of the crystals. That day as I was leaving the store Amber gifted a Success Stone Candle to me. Each day my son asks to burn the candle so we can get a step closer to revealing those crystals in the jar.

Little did I know these candles with their little gems inside can help evoke greatness in women and hours of entertainment and anticipation in kiddos.
